Nothing more I could have asked for.

Never been so happy to be back at school. It’s a new home and family.

Although my world may seem different and tough at times, I DO NOT regret anything. I just spent the night at the CCQ with upperclassmen. Didn’t ever think just hours talking and laughing would list as one of the highlights in my life. E-1 is family now and I’ve met the greatest people in my life here. So glad to be away from home. Hooahhhhhh.

Back in school attending briefings, chillin out & meeting new people. New rooms, new roommates, new divisions, new squads, new platoons, and new chain of command :) and best of all, more workouts. APFT in a few weeks & military movement next round.

It’s my last night home for winter leave. Although my break was noticeably shorter than my friends, I really came to appreciate the time my school did give me to go home and relax for more than 3 days. My 2 weeks did feel long and surprisingly I’m not that sad about going back to my “little grey world.” The greatest opportunities in life aren’t free.
I may sound crazy, but this break was long enough for me. As great as more sleep may sound, I really need to pick up the pace & work to go where I’m headed. I signed up for this so legggggooo.

Resolution time!
-better myself, reach past the limit
-develop as a leader, don’t hesitate to take the first step
-become the standard
-study hard because first semester wasn’t pretty
-be ready for be a team leader for class of 2016
-graduate air assault school without dying
-finish camp Buckner without dying
-be an awesome team leader
-attend church every Sunday
-do what I believe it right.

Finally home after 5 months of school. It’s hard to believe its the holiday season but I am beyond pumped to start shopping and preparing for the holidays. Ate plenty today & now just a little tired. Saw most of my friends and although it’s only been 3 months of school for civilian colleges, I expected slight change, none of which I observed. Just a couple people with facial hair & lax bro flow. I miss the civilian world until I get out, I want to go back to the military life.
I usually go black Friday shopping, but tomorrow i think I’ll just pass. Too tiring to get up early to make the effort to go out and buy a couple things.
